Registering for Classes of Lessons

Payment
-When registering for classes or private lessons, post-dated checks will be made out for each month of the semester. For example, if your student were to take private lessons for the fall semester, the dates of the checks would be September 1, October 1, November 1, and December 1.
-Checks will be depositied on the first day of each month. If for some reason a student drops a lesson, the un-deposited checks will be returned to you. Please keep in mind that drop forms are due by the 15th of the previous month. If not recieved by this time, checks are not guaranteed to be returned to you.
-There is a once a year registration fee of $30 per student that is due at the beginning of every Fall semester, or whenever you start lessons. This fee is non-refundable and covers notebooks, trophies and other supplies throughout the year, it does not include instruction books which are billed seperately.
-Any bounced checks will result in a $30/check fee. If students need to be reminded monthly that payments are coming out of their accounts, please inform the registrar at the time of registration.
-If student decides not to do the post-dated checks as their payment plan, then automatic debit is offered at a fee to the student. When registering, more information can be obtained.
Studio Policies
-Tuition is charged on a monthly basis and is non-refundable whether or not the student attends their lessons or class. For example, if you decide to cancel a lesson for vacation, another appointment, sporting activity, school event, etc. tuition remains the same.
-There will be NO make up lessons unless absences is due to serious illness, they are accompanied by a doctor's note and 24 hours notice has been given to the school. Make up lessons will be limited to 2 per teaching YEAR and REQUIRE A DOCTOR'S NOTE. Refunds will not be given for missed lessons.
-If a teacher is unable to be here on the day of a lesson, the lesson will be conducted by a Masterworks approved instructor. We have an extensive list of quality instructors who substitue in the case that one of our teachers are absent. All classes and lessons follow a unified curriculum regarless of the instructor who teaches them.
-In the even of inclement weather, unless a state of the emergency is declased, we will open and an instrcutor will be in the facility.
-Private lessons will be 25-30 minutes long. Classes will be approximately 45-50 minutes long. Please check course catalogue for specific times.
-A teacher is only required to wait 15 minutes for a student who is runnig late. After 15 minutes, the lesson is considered a "no show or cancel" and the teacher is free to leave. There will be no make up lessons given to replace the missed lesson.
-Drop/Adds-in the even that a student wishes to drop classes/lessons a drop form is due by the 15th of the previous month. Students who add a class may do until the end of the first month of the semester. Private lessons may be added anytime during the semester and will be pro-rated to reflect the time of month the lessons begins. Lessons will never begin the same week of registration-they always begin the following week.
