The Douthit Family
Chase and Caleb: "I give numerous thanks to Masterworks . I like how they give us different choices of lesson books like Star Wars! "
Rhonda: " I appreciate how the staff at Masterworks provides such a fun learning environment for music. The staff is uplifting, positive, and full of verbal praise - that goes a long way with my two boys. They also love receiving their end of the semester trophies!"

The Camelli Family
"We have been taking piano at Masteworks for the past six years. We began with our oldest son and now we have all three of our children enrolled. They love their lesson time and always walk away feeling uplfted and encouraed. The required work is challenging and appropriate, and as a result they have progresed beautifully! We can't say enough great things about the staff at Masterworks!"

Barb and Konrad Christian
"Konrad and I have been taking music lessons at Masterworks for four years. For 1 ½ of those years Konrad had a violin lesson in addition to both of our piano lessons. Masterworks made it very convenient to schedule our three lessons all at one time on one day. The monthly Master Classes and the frequent recitals have been helpful to Konrad as an incentive to finish a piece. They have been helpful to me as an adult student to bridge the gap between playing the piano and performing. I still have a ways to go, but with the overwhelming encouragement, tips and support from my teachers I will continue to try to perform. I would have to say that the staff and teaching faculty are the greatest asset at Masterworks. For as long as we have been taking lessons, there has never been an administrative glitch. We always know where we should be, when we should be there, and what we need to have with us. Each week we both leave our lessons rejuvenated and eager to start the next task. Sometimes it’s a new way to approach a current piece, sometimes it’s an interesting new piece, and sometimes it’s affirmation that we have indeed made progress. Although Konrad and I have always been at about the same skill level, our teachers have the breadth and depth required to work with a child and a first-time adult player. "

Masterworks
by Laney Portelance, Show Choir Student
Months of practice, intricate lines
If only they know, what goes on behind
Stage lights warm and flawless bright
Make-up pales in dazzling white
Curtains framing every pose
Cutting and sewing vibrant clothes
"Solo" means you stand alone
Giggles, whispers, microphones
One thousand dance steps; a dozen songs
Always smile; don't say it wrong
Perfection drilled in all our minds
Practice, practice, one million times
Live in the moment; remember your verse
I'm not sure we could get much worse
Heros, villains, swords and guns
Genies, princes, jocks, and nuns
Tickets selling every week
Friends and family in every seat
We're finally here with everyone
It's blood, sweat, tears and lots of fun
So many friends and such great folks
One sore throat and acting jokes
No second take or quick review
Tonight's the night; right now's the time
With one short prayer the curtains spread
Good luck guys! No, break a leg!
Dancing, singing, acting, bow
Walk of fame: "great job" and "wow"
Parents smile; flowers still
Nothing like that stage show thrill
Ecstatic actors fill the hall
Can't wait to see you guys next fall
For four more months of lines and songs
For four great shows after weeks of wrong
There is no play to capture the feel
Of something that is true and real
So come enjoy the avid perks
Of David Uibel's Masterworks!
